ARTXCODE Announces Representation of Mika Ben Amar

Mika Ben Amar (b. 2004) is a Berlin-based artist whose practice navigates the internet as both medium and subject. We are glad to have her work on the platform.

Ben Amar works across digital and physical forms, examining the infrastructures of contemporary online culture: personalized advertising, data collection, and the systems through which attention is captured and monetized. Her practice is grounded in direct participation rather than observation. She builds her own tools, uses her personal browsing data as primary material, and finds ways to make the hidden economies of everyday internet use visible and tangible.

Her physical and sculptural output extends these concerns into material form, engaging the iconography of consumer technology as a site of cultural examination. She has exhibited at Glitch Marfa (Marfa, Texas), SOLOS Gallery (London), and in group exhibitions across Europe and Australia.

By joining ARTXCODE's roster, Ben Amar contributes to our ongoing commitment to artists who take the internet seriously as both a medium and a cultural condition. Two collections, https://internet.flowers (2025) and Ad Space (2025), originally released through Verse, can be explored under our collections.
